Keep the SEO foundations, make your answers useful and supported, and separate AI visibility observations from evidence of business results.
Define the type of visibility you mean
A system can mention a brand, cite a page as a source, or describe information about a service. Those observations are different. Record which search experience you are reviewing and what counts as a result. One appearance on one day does not demonstrate that the brand will keep appearing for the same question.
Define the customer, language, and offer first. A business serving Kosovo or Albania should begin with the questions those customers ask. A business selling in the US or Europe should examine that audience instead. GEO needs a concrete customer purpose, rather than a new label added to an unchanged list of agency tasks.
Make your information accessible
Check that priority pages open correctly, receive useful internal links, and have consistent indexing instructions. Inspect the URL in Search Console rather than assuming that publication means inclusion. If the main answer is missing from the accessible page, solve that problem before investing in promotion.
Google connects its generative search experiences with its Search foundations and describes relevant inclusion controls in Search Console. Review the controls available for your property. A special markup formula cannot guarantee a citation. The AI search readiness checklist helps organise a manual review; it does not query an AI system or issue an official Google score.
Give a useful answer with evidence
Explain the process, conditions, and limitations of your offer. Support factual claims with sources. Add documented experience, suitable images, and real project examples where permission exists. If you compare options, explain the criteria. Label illustrative scenarios so a reader can distinguish a planning example from a client result.
A software business could show what information an integration estimate needs. A building company could explain how a property's condition changes the assessment. Those answers serve the buyer even if an AI system never cites them. The AI search and GEO service starts by finding these practical gaps in important pages.
Connect information with a credible reputation
A clear professional profile and consistent business details help visitors understand who is responsible for the information. Relevant editorial references can place your expertise in a wider setting. Develop contributions that are useful to a publication's audience, such as a defensible analysis or a specialist explanation.
Digital PR and editorial outreach can support that work. A mention or listicle position does not guarantee a recommendation from an AI system. Do not present a paid placement as independent editorial proof. Review the audience and the context before treating any reference as evidence of a successful campaign.
Use a repeatable set of questions
Keep a small question set covering discovery, comparison, and purchase decisions. Record the date, market, language, and system. Note whether the brand appeared, whether your URL was cited, and whether the description was accurate. Repeat the review in comparable conditions. An observation log is useful for spotting questions that need investigation.
Use the Search Console reports available for your property alongside analytics and an enquiry log. Google's generative AI reporting documentation explains its own measurements. A manual answer check measures something else, so keep the datasets separate. The measurement guide shows how to connect observations with the next business decision.
Start with one worthwhile improvement
Choose one customer question and the page that should answer it. Check technical access, add missing evidence, and link to related material that helps the reader. Then consider whether there is a useful contribution to offer a relevant publication. Keep a record of the changes before judging later results.
For implementation, follow the AI Overviews and GEO visibility plan. Local businesses can also use the guides to SEO in Kosovo and SEO in Albania. To review priorities, send your website and the main questions your customers ask. Start with an information gap you can actually fix.
